Children's Ministry

Journey South Bay's Children's Ministry Team is committed to partnering with parents to teach children to know, follow and share Jesus.

A full Sunday school program is offered on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and a Kid's Club program is offered at 10:45 a.m. for children from nursery to 5th grade. Every 4th Sunday is Intergenerational Worship where Elementary aged kids attend big church in the Sanctuary.

Several times a year the children will either perform worship songs in the main service or attend with their families for a family-style worship service. Lesson worksheets with Bible verses are sent home each week with the children.

There is also a class for children with autism at 9:00 a.m., making it possible for their parents to attend the worship service. The class is staffed by several trained volunteers. Activities are tailored to meet the interests and abilities of individual children.

During the Summer, there is an Align + Art Camp that teaches children God's truths through motion, art and theatre. Here are highlights from 2019's Align + Art Camp, click here. Save the date! Our 2020's Align + Art Camp will be held during July 20-24, 2020. Check back here in the Spring when registration opens back up.
